TREESPEC (formerly Grant Cody Arboricultural Services) is a Victorian based arboricultural company operating throughout Australia and
abroad since 2003
In July 2009 TREESPEC pty ltd was formed, taking the business to the next level.
Grant has been working as a climber in the industry for 18 years and is a qualified arborist, completing a level IV certificate followed by a diploma at The University of Melbourne (Burnley Campus) between 1997 and 2001.
Initially the business specialized in supplying sub-contract climbers to the industry, working for many other arborists dealing with large pruning and removal works, many with a high degree of difficulty. This work has allowed us to develop highly refined and efficient systems with new levels of climber safety.
Over the past couple of years with the acquisition of a Chipper truck, 12 inch wood chipper with winch, a Kanga WD 825 Loader and Stump Grinder the range of services offered has increased to dealing with all aspects of practical tree care and removal, in addition to supplying a number of highly experienced, equipped and qualified contract climbers.
Grant has also competed regularly in both state and national level tree climbing competitions since 1999 and has established himself as a successful competition climber competing in the World championship in 2006, 2009 and 2010.
